As my game's Kickstarter continues it seems like people seem to like the art style the most. Obviously I have you fine folks and your feedback to thank for that.
I've decided that to give them more of what they want I'll be adding parallaxing to the game, but for that to be worthwhile, I've gotta get on creating some badass backgrounds. So here we go: Ice Dragon time! 
This is only the second time I've tried to make a dragon using pixel art, so I know it's gonna be a little rough. I just want to get the general shape of it first and then see if I can blend it to look more like a backdrop. Thoughts? Critiques? Help? Resources? Thanks again! Up-duuurrrrrts!!!
Starting to take shape. 
Still playing around with the colors. Right now the blue is coming from an overlay. Just trying to get the basic look down so I can perfect it. I think it's coming along nicely. Thoughts? Gotta add to that Dragon body a bit and show what he's grabbing. Also the wings obviously need work. Just gotta keep movin'! |
