I've got so many things on the go right now but, I thought I'd take some time to redo the castle I made a couple of years ago at PixelDam

original verison 2 years ago:

the new version still unfinished of course:

Ideas? I've a few ideas that I will save for my final version.

Edited May 15th at 12:17pm :

Finished moat, added entrance, added and completed windows, some subtle details. More to come

actually.. I think I'm approaching  this castle as being placed in modern day. So just a rich dudes home. I'm gonna have some jewel thieves rob the place

Nice work, can't wait to see it done.

Here's a quick idea on how to break the monotomy of those bricks:

Also, you could make a few bricks lighter or darker, or make them cracked.

Keep it up.

PsychoCrap - I guess you've not seen pixeldam before. There is a limited space in which I can build. You're water looks a bit bright as well. Thanx for trying though :)

Great job, I love it so far. The wood texture looks great. The windows are perfect. The mote is awsome. Great job.

For some reason I see a side walk around the whole thing... Maybe it's that black outline around it, I don't know. I'm really trying to give suggestions here but it's hard to stop staring at that unique spiffy style of yours.
