Now it doesn't look as plain... I don't really know what you could add to it. Maybe somtheing near the eyes? I mean they seem very large but not that visually intresting. -------------

not sure what you mean about less white but for the symmetrical, probably the next one I make wont be symmetrical, probably something based off the artwork by KMFDM ------------- Mmmm.. Thats good placebo! |

The artwork isn't actually done by KMFDM, they enlist this artist, who's also done some covers for other bands, Faith No More's King For A Day, Fool For A Lifetime, for instance  This piece is ok, i think it needs black around it defining more of the head, black perhaps defining the cheekbones. |

tried to soften it a bit further but I hate adding a fift colour to it, is there another way if doing it without adding extra colours that I dont know of? ------------- Mmmm.. Thats good placebo! |

The cheekbone shape, the straight egde bothers me, seems like their
lighting is diff than the rest. Also with this type of *overhead*
lighting (?) the thingies between the nose and upper lip would not
shadow this way, it would be the center area not the ridge that
shadows. The lower lip is not indicated to potrude enough to create
such a thick shadow. Also the nose appears to be wide and flat so the
shadow would be thicker. Do you have the *face* for this to show?

the source material for what I'm working on is a mix of these 2 images  the obey logo for the frontal view and the kmfdm poster for the shading ------------- Mmmm.. Thats good placebo! |

Those are quite conflicting since the Andre the Giant is a stylized
silkscreen image utilizing head-on lighting, whereas the KMFDM is top
lightning (as I suspected). In this case I would eliminate a color or
two and skew the lighting just off-center (like head-on to the side of
the nose a bit) to allow for interesting shapes.
