Quick 1 hour warmup. Think it needs more time than I'm gonna have this week. I'll try and give it another hour later in the week. C+C always welcome! :)

Use the tree icon in the text editor, or put the url in between an {img} and {/img} (replace the curly braces with brackets)

@MrLry, the link you included is the display page. You need to include the ".png" in order to link to the file itself.

Yoruba dancers entreat the Orisha Ossain to share his medicine.

Chance of finishing this on time for the challenge : ~25-30%

(If I post here, though, I increase my commitment ;))

Guys remember to get to 20 posts asap so your posts no longer need approval.

Adarias that is a great angle on this challenge as these trees have small top at any angle. Very sophisticated.

Lol. That's funny! Good one. You mean to say that drawing something that someone else has photographed is copyright infringement? I'd honestly like to know if that is remotely possible.

Its a grey area but yes. Its not that cool. In this case it seems cool to me because the artist was honest and shows the ref not to mention its not for profit so no real theft will occur. It remains 'creative' theft.

The best and clearcut thing to do is to make original vertions 'of' things.

Does it look enough like a baobab? I found that I rally dislike that tree shape and I made something a bit different.

It does not read baobab.
Try a pin head and some small bushy hands?

Of course you can make the foreground just the trunk and suggest its a baobab with the BG tree shape.

Think creatively.

Added few things, but a lot more to add.
And maybe I should redraw the guard.

I like it Finlal but I wonder if making things a bit more African will help the tree read right because at that angle its hard to see what makes a baobab unique.

I'll make it African if I have a time left, thanks for the clue.

This site looks awesome. I've been meddling with pixel art for a retro style game and this looks like great practice. My first ever pixel art submission and post.
C&C welcome and appreciated.

I want to submit this image, but the submission process requires that I upload a 100x100 version, which I didnt create. So how can I submit this without having to downsize it?

And the final thing.
Not sure how the public queue thing works here, but I hope I got it in time?
Had to remove background details for the sake of making deadline for sure.
