Yet another BG for game project. The lighting will all be gone with programming effects so those won't be on this by me. I am hoping to get the same look and feel as the others so some degree of "scrappyness" now has to be included :/

I've cleaned up a lot of it now and reconfugured the red BG to further define the different planes. The lighting will be coded not pixelled and this too will use parallax effect. The layers are shown below in a compressed size to save PJ some bandwidth.

c+c, pleaze

parallax effects kick ass!

To me, the foreground and background blend almost to well...  It's hard to really tell them apart.

I think this is a really good peice, but it's got some issues. The wall with the graffitti on it doesn't really seem like it's it's own wall. The stairwell part at the top sort of blends in with the background so the stairs look more like chopped up pixels than actual stairs. I'm not sure how to really fix the issue other than making the stairwell ramps lighter.

Thank Aleiav, I noticed that too when I posted. I had not yet placed the brick texture over it.
Thanks Sharky, pleasing you feels nice

I removed a layer and continued my cleanups

Looking great.  I love the graffiti, and the highlight on the speakers sets a proper tone for the piece.  Can't wait to see it finished.

This Bg will be pretty much as is since all the lighting will be done by the programmer using additive blending with alpha, I think :/
This the mokup I made for him to follow for color and look. (photobucket shrunk it for some reason)
