I wanted to start easy so I made a book.  The orangish part surrounded by yellow in the middle was going to have a picture or something in it, but it is 1 - too small and 2 - Im not that good.

V1 - Glow

V2 - Without Glow

Comments & Critisism welcome.  - Im still working on AA(antialiasing) so just remember this is my first.  Also, can someone please link me or give me a name of a good pixel font?  I used to have some good ones but I got a new PC and I dont have any now.

You're using too many colors for tha antialiasing; go http://www.spriteart.com/tutorials/01_AA.html - here for help on it.

And hey, just an FYI: We draw our own fonts here.

No glow - transparent. That's better.

I'm with MoD, about the number of colours, you can easily cut down on about 4 +

Colors are important but first things first: you should get you lines straight. I donīt understand your lines at all. 2-3-3-4-3-3-2? Inner pages of the book doesnīt even use same line. Looks damn confusing.

Are you sure you already have checked out some of the basic tutorials? This is (for example) pretty good page to start with: http://rhysd.syntesis.org/tutorial/ - http://rhysd.syntesis.org/tutorial/

And some more: http://www.pixeljoint.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=706&PN=1 - http://www.pixeljoint.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=706& PN=1

Pixel fonts are usually used only in such things as flash web pages. Pixel artists donīt need to write anything that much so you can draw them letterz and sh*t, yo.

(There are some links for pixel fonts in the other page I linked for you though.)

Now that I'm done with preaching, I could ask if anyone knows any small font or good set of letters in isometric (basic) view? Those are always pain in the ass to draw especially in cases you don't want to use much anti-aliasing.

Seems like it should be a bit more wide to be a book. Looks like a pamphlet sized book now.
