this will be my last game form I promise. I'm working on a game called A Daze Dream. These are the characters I would like some opinions on the style. Because I tried something new I like it. But I don't know?
the system I am using only accepts 259bmp pixels. The second one lost the color value so I posted both.

edit

Sorry for all the missing photos i used to use photo bucket but i changed to imgur so from this post to RebeaLeion first post there will be no images
just to let you know :)

The sprites in the second image and on the white backgrounds seem to be in a different style from the rest. Which style are you looking for feedback on? Are the green-background sprites your own? If not, please don't include them.
Also, white is a terrible colour for a background, unless the whole game takes place in a mostly-white world xP White makes it hard to see the relative values in your sprites. Midtones or colours/values representative of the game world are better to use, both when drawing and presenting your sprites for critique.

(Green-background sprites, in case they are your work: ) The face on the hooded, bearded person and the dress on the purple-haired person look blurry. Don't worry so much about making smooth transitions on sprites so small - a lot of the time it does more harm than good, and small sprites usually work really well with sharp cel-shading.

(White-background sprites and second image: ) Most of the shading doesn't read because there's too little contrast, especially on the browns, yellows, and skin.
The flattened tops of heads look odd to me. They look like poorly drawn heads to me, rather than an intentional cute feature. My brain expects rounder heads.
In some hair styles, the ears appear to be a continuation of the cheeks rather than ears. This could be remedied by shading the ears though.
The arms are so tiny that I can't imagine these characters being able to do anything. How will you animate game actions when you have 2-3 pixels worth of arm available? In addition to that difficulty, it looks unproportional, their hands are apparently at the level of their chests or waists. You can definitely make them a little longer and more functional-looking without losing any cuteness.

Note to self (OK next time make sure the first picture doesn't lose color value) but I fixed the colors of the main characters and the other ones will be shown next time because I need to experiment with them more.
But thank you for seeing the cuteness in them

Happy new year ... or am I a little late? But anyways lets get down to it.
Here is what I've been working on. The knight worries me no matter what I do his armor looks plain I want a simple look but one that is striking so flashy but simple. I'm having a hard time with that look so if anyone can give me any pointers it would be greatly appreciated. Really armor isn't one of my strong points. :(

Try using darker greys for the knight, and then adding very light grey highlights. That'll make him look striking. You can also make the greys a little bluer (or purpler or redder, whatever!) so he doesn't look so boring.

I tried some edit. Well, it's not the best example but something like this (?) might work for armor. I tried to follow the style.

I like your sprites! Keep pixeling.

They feel rather dull, I think you could increase the contrast a little to make them shiny. Perhaps not as shiny as RebeaLeion's edit, but a little shiny would help the armor read as "metal".

Their legs being so close together makes them look very weak and like they're going to fall over, since their heads and shoulders are so big. RebeaLeion's suggestion to widen the stance is a good one, though you'd probably have to make it a little narrower to make a walking animation that looks good.

OK. I might just widen the whole sprite because there all copy and pastes of each other. Before I go further into this let me explain the game. A Daze Dream is a Rpg game. But no fighting monsters ,evil henchman ,or the dammed. But the game focuses on strategy. you must fight, the peaceful way! Running through mazes, Avoiding Knights, solving puzzles, and befriending monsters to help you on your way. The reason why I say this is because i am going to work on monsters soon. I know that when the first monster sprite is up people might want it to look more evil but it can't because for the second time the monsters are the good guys. (because of Undertale duh)

Edit : The enemy is mankind. just for you info

Ah, the background characters remember me my pixelart first steps editing Rpg Maker charsets... It's not like I've become decent at pixelart, but it's been a lot since...

Wel, your style is cute and simple, but as your chara canvas is tiny and the head is so big and the bodies are so small, there's little space to place detail. This affects the armors beeing particulary difficult to pixel.
I'll add more contrast and would try to separate regions on it.

here you go Made them larger and changed the contrast.
next will probably be villagers and maps.

i'm better at character design then i am at scenery

can give me tips on what to do from here. It would be
very appreciated.

Since you aim at specific style, legend of zelda ref. might actually help you here. Check it out. You may use it as a nice ref. while you draw it your own way/style.

photobucket.com deleted your previous images or was it on purpose ? If it's the 1st case then it's not the best site for image hosting I guess.

it was on purpose photobucket is a pain to do anything with (It will ask you login twice and sometimes three times if you get and add. It took 2 to sometimes 10 minuets to load a picture) so I changed to imgur. thank you I will ref the heck of Zelda.

here is my take on the houses. I think it's coming along good i just need to add a little more style so
it doesn't just look like a LTTP recolor.

The houses are too similar to the ones in A link to the Past. I would change some the structure too. Anyway, the style is nice.

Hey! I'm back and I sure do have something new.

this is for a game called you will be loved. His name is Dolly. I just wanted to see if I could improve upon Dolly the theme is horror. the only thing that bothers me is his forward walking animation.

Nice job.
Not a fan of the colors on its own but in game they may work well.
