So I got into spriting about a year ago. It's a little different from other forms of art so it was just... a little different. My brother had me make some sprites for a phone app. I've finished the art and sprites for it already, but since starting that project with my brother, I felt like I had learned a lot, and could improve on the sprites I had made. So I decided to go back and redo the sprites for the game.

Though I have improved, I still want to improve more, since I've started to take pixel art more seriously. So I'm open for critique.

Old:

New: (doubled in size)

Assuming my bro likes the new sprites, I'll keep making/posting more for more critique.

Edit: The animations didn't come up initially, but now they should work.

No comments? Does that mean it's okay? Should I address my concern?

When I showed my brother the sprite he said it seemed blurry somehow. Not from the computer screen or anything, it just came off as blurry when he saw it. So I was wondering if it came off as blurry to anyone else.

Maybe the palette is the problem. Do you guys think the palette is okay?

Oh hey. I didn't read your post until now. I waited a few days, saw no response and just left the boards for a bit. Thanks for the response, I appreciate it. Looking at the sprite now, it does really have a Kirby vibe about it. He has similar eyes. :P It's kind of funny, I never thought of that.

I actually updated the sprites a bit, and cut back the amount of shades each color had.

Though I probably won't dedicate my time to this much anymore, since the programmer prefers the old sprites.
