CHALLENGE: Nouveaubot

Pixel a robot with an https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Art_Nouveau - art nouveau design.

Briefly: art nouveau focuses on elaborate curves and organic-looking decorations.

Canvas Size - Max 250 x 250.
Colours - Max 25.
Transparency - Optional.
Animation - Optional.

CHALLENGE RULES

  • Participants have until this upcoming Sunday at midnight (12AM Pacific) to /pixels/submit_icons.asp'>submit their entry (strict). Don't forget to check the 'Submit to weekly challenge' checkbox.
  • Only new pixels allowed.
  • Open to all members.
  • Posting WIPs in this thread or in new threads in the /forum/forum_topics.asp?FID=8'>WIP section is highly encouraged, but ONLY SUBMIT YOUR FINAL ART.

CHALLENGE JUDGING

  • Every Sunday at midnight (12AM Pacific) the previous week's entries are judged.
  • Every week a new voting poll will be posted for previous week's entries.
  • Winner announced the following week.

CHALLENGE PRIZES/GOODIES

  • Top three finishers will receive an award displayed in your PJ gallery profile for all to see and envy.
  • Top finisher gets to call the following week's challenge...sweet.
  • 'Participation' ribbons will be given for all who enter.
  • No matter what happens you get challenged :)

Sloppy start. Some anatomy and perspective to work out before I begin refining.

I desperately need to finish a weekly soon. I keep getting close but not enough to submit.

Idea is is that at the time when Art Nouveau was at its peak, there were no real "robot" tropes the way we have today. Artificial people, as they appear in early literature, are much more organic.

I started my piece and then I opened this topic to see how is doing everyone else, and your pieces look different from mine. Am I missing something? Please, tell me.

Also, any critique is welcome.

I missed the "robot" part! Well I have a new idea which I like even more, and will work on that.

I'll finish this WIP some day, though. Maybe even make it a robot unicorn.

Don't worry about the text, it's correct :)
If you really want to stick to an all French spelling, then Saint Petersburg would be written "Saint-Pétersbourg" or "SAINT-PETERSBOURG" if in capital letters.



Not sure if I have time to work more on this one, meh

I've done I guess. Wanted to animate it, but already spent 10 hrs with it and can't see it anymore.
