Hi Hapiel and thanks for taking the time to look over my work. Great advice all around! I will answer each of your points below.
Post the images here too, not just the links
Sure thing. Great idea - I have updated the original post.
Consider posting images here before you submit them to the gallery and mark them as "finished", it is more interested for us to comment and critique if we know you're still interested in fixing and updating the work, than if you are only going to use this feedback on new works.
Ok, thanks for the great advice - I will start doing this from now on (thing is I posted everything up to this point straight to the gallery because as a new user you can't post anything on the forum until you have 10 points I think (anti-spam measure from what I gather).
1...Maybe show a game on there instead!
Yeah, thing is I wanted to impose some time limit on myself as well and it had already taken me about three hours to make it as it is so that's why I din't insist with a game (as originally intended). Maybe as I can get better I will be able to add this type of detail...

Ok the feedback is spot on and quite clear. I will just leave this image here, since it is what I used as a reference - http://accelerator-london.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/theatre.jpg - theatre model
3. ...
Here is the http://www.100resilientcities.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/cities-nyc_optimized.jpg - city model for reference. I tried to mimic this as best I could and in my mind the sun was above and to the left. The buildings behind, well I thought I would make them one darker colour since they were in the further plane and thus no details are visible.
