Hey everyone! Started this piece to work on perspective and tackle a pretty tricky reflection. Pretty unhappy with where it's at on those aspects in particular. Would love C+C.

Lighting is supposed to be very overcast and backlit ;D

Sweet, that's a good start already!

I'm sure I know nothing about perspective and reflection that you don't so I can't comment much on this.

I do have some questions: Where are the ripples in the water coming from? Is the viewer in a boat?
Looking at those ripples longer does make them feel a bit 'steep', as if the water is not flat but at a diagonal going upwards.

Why are the clouds converging towards the center? Is some mythical force drawing them in, or is nature helping this composition by chance? Perhaps you could hide this composition helping better.

What kind of rock is this? It's large cube-ish shapes make me thing of an ice rock or rough mountain top, but the round details make me think of something that has been underwater for very long or a meteorite...
The highlighted edges make it feel a bit translucent, as if it is made of dark ice... What is it?

I hope I can be of some help somehow :)
