Designing a world map for my game. Already posted it at my blog, and Russians there said that mountains look like sh*t, and palette is fecal matter too and the city reminds them of penis: http://lj.rossia.org/users/sadkov/88506.html so yeah I already know that image looks like puss, but it is just a sketch and I need some geology hints to correctly distribute the stuff, if desert is placed right and where forests usually grow. I also plan to include volcanic and snow regions and probably a little planetary curvature with stars/sky above. I also don't want to use island map, because as the story goes it is just a small open kingdom that is being invaded, yet I placed it near an ocean to allow for trade routes. I've checked a few existing game maps, but they appear to be too contrived.  |
