Just some lineart for now, I'm probably gonna put a backdrop in before I do any shading on the cars. For a lot of my other stuff I've been working with pretty restrictive palettes, but I feel like I actually want realistic colors for this one.

I found the logo in an old print ad and immediately decided I needed to include it :P

So yeah, that didn't end up happening. Instead I've got some preliminary shading on the race car.

That's coming out great!
Small nitpicks:
I'm confused about the shape of the spoiler, the shading doesn't make sense to me.
On the back window there is some weird jagging going on.
Behind the front wheel it looks a bit as if the car is broken. I know it's modified, but maybe it can be mor visually clear somehow? Also, the wheel is protruding a lot out it seems, I'd expect that to be further in

I hope that helps a bit, other wise you seem to know well where you're going!

A couple tweaks:

re:spoiler, yeah, the shape I had in the lineart was better and it should be at the same angle as the roof pillars. I wanted to keep the lip at the back of it though, so hopefully that reads well.
re:jagging, that's staying until I get the windows/interior done so I can sort it out with AA.
re:wheel, I've fixed the placement, but I'm not sure exactly what you mean by the rest of it. I did misread my own lineart in a couple places around there though (and missed a couple details in my reference) so this should be better.

Meanwhile, on another layer, I've been working out the livery. The colors are just placeholders (and probably look weird since I did it with f.lux active) but this is a rough idea of what it'll look like.

Nice. But I believe it would be cooler with more exciting background and maybe a few characters, human (or alien, or animal), and some story. Plain car won't attract huge attention in the gallery
