So, I wanted to pick up pixel art so I started practicing by making a simple pyramid. But now, I am not sure where to go from here as far as texturing and shading.. Any tips or ideas or any help would be appreciated. Thanks!  |

Hi Epsilon, welcome :D The first step would probably be to ask yourself what you want this to be. Right now it looks like some abstract shapes on a canvas with no meaning or context, which is hard to make well and hard to be appreciated. What kind of pyramid do you have in mind? The kind of pyramids like in the Egyptian desert? In that case, obviously the pyramid wouldn't be green, this tall, and should be in the desert... Or what did you have in mind? |
