Hello, I've been working for 3 or 4 days in a small drawing of mushrooms and I have 2 problems ...
First:
how would it be a suitable background for a frontal image so desaturated as this one? How to correct the grass and the shadows?

Second:
too much noise? How would you fix it?

Thank you
(I hope I'm not asking too much )

Looks fine to me. Without a mockup and what would be in front of these mushrooms it is hard to judge.

Here is an example of an index painted forest tileset from a commercial game https://imgur.com/a/pNOZU3M

hope it helps.

Looks nice. I suggest you can improve readability by making it a tad more contrast, like adding contrast outline to the objects and making important objects like that animal brighter with even more contrast outlines:

WOOOW! That is huge map!

Although I would have contacted the original artist instead, if she is not against retouching her artwork, and maybe she has any thoughts on it.
