Hi guys !
I came back to drawing pixel art. My friend asked me about doing our first video game about our decisions (for now I'm trying to help my friend with coding, and drawing some things)

Can you guys check out how it looks like ?
I've tried to use some "shading" but I don't know if it's looks ok. My friend said that's ok but I know that maybe I should adjust some things.

Looks pretty good, I can't come up with any particular criticisms at the moment. Though you might want to watch how many shades you're using in your palette, since if you use too many it will take a long time to animate the character (and it will be more difficult to keep the shading consistent across frames).

Right now it's probably a decent range of shades, but if you used that entire blonde gradient (in the second picture) that'd certainly be too many colors.

Oh, one small thing is that the kid's hair (the one with dark brown hair) in the edit looks more like a helmet than it does hair. If it's supposed to be an afro you might want to make it a bit rounder on top and cut out a bit of the hair near the neck.

Well talking about this numerous amount of yellow collor. I was looking for perfect colors that won't blend up with already light yellow color. That's why there is a lot of it.

I was also working up with poses, I already made a pose but I have a lot of problem implementing collors.

And So I tried to implement the colors, and it looks terrible ...

More fitting colors would be this

It looks like there is a fog or something like that.
But it was hard to get those colors.

I really like the pose of the person who is sitting and gazing into the distance!

As for the colors, I'm no expert, but the first thing that popped out at me is that the colors look extremely saturated, which is making the whole piece look flat!

Perhaps it might help to choose a smaller selection of more muted colors?

Likewise, you might want to shade the grass and tree different, to imply leaves! http://pixeljoint.com/pixelart/106243.htm - This piece might inspire you - it has grass, leaves, and tree bark!
