A friend of mine asked me to draw an 80x80 logo for him; this is the result. Is there anything I can improve about the image before I send it off? In particular, I'd like some advice on the inner fruit texture.

I know dog sh*t about grapefruits or mecha, but I'm pretty sure your gear's teeth wont connect, and the design is hard to read. Maybe something simple would do? Here is an example with correct gear teeth (the fruit here is orange):  You cant also make it 1/2 fruit and 1/2 gear (think cyborg fruit)
