Hi everyone, I'm not sure I have ever posted anything in the forum, but I'm not exactly new here as I've been following on and off for the past 10 years probably!

This is a WIP of a character I've been working on, it's from an Italian comic I'm kind of obsessed with :)

I've posted as soon as I was satisfied enough with it to get some feedback. It's already a step forward compared to my previous works but I'm looking for any room for improvement.

I'm still not convinced about the anatomy of the arms and his left hand. The pose might be a bit more dynamic as well.

I like the face and legs, though I'm not 100% sure the lighting is correct. I've tried to outline the legs, aside from the "comics" effect, to make them stand out a bit more from backgrounds.

Anyway, I'm open to any comment or suggestion about anatomy, lighting, lines, palette, etc...basically anything :D

Thanks!

Very good so far. Anatomically wise so far I think it's mostly there, I think the arms could be slightly longer and thats about it really.

Looking at shading I again think most of its well lit and for the most part well shaded. You seem to get lost on the shoulders and arms again, clearly thats where you're struggling the most. Some more shading on the fore arms would go a long way in bringing out the from and I'd spread the brightest shade across the entirety of the shoulders.

Lastly I think you either should up the contrast as some of the darker colours you just can't see, or just remove the darker colours entirely as I think the froms/silhouette read well enough to stand on their own.

I second what Damian said about the arms. And also, maybe it's just me, but perhaps the coat should be a bit longer? Either that or the area between his belt and where his legs begin should be just a little shorter.

Lighting looks good to me, great job on the face and all the detail!
