Hello everyone! until now I have been eyeballing my pixels, but I want to get better! If you have the time I will really appreciate pointers and comments!
For example in this drawing I took the colors from a real picture, so the palette is a little bit boring I think, it doesnt move in hue so much.

The colors are fine, there is nothing wrong with a more 'natural' look :). What is it that you want to achieve with this piece? Is it nearly finished or are yo u going to add more? I would consider changing the composition and contrast around a bit to put more focus on the zeppelin, I hadn't even noticed it at first! And what is that odd shaped cloud in the background? |

Hello! I want to add a lot more clouds, But I feel the only way to do it is to keep desaturating(?) some colors of the palette. I also want to add clouds above (the odd cloud) curved or pointing at one corner to make you feel they are really far away but I am still experimenting on that. How can I achieve more contrast on the zeppeling, just by using more saturated colors?
And also I want that the clouds the zeppeling crashed into look different in some way but I can't figure out how. Edit: I don't speak english that well! sorry if my post is hard to understand! |
