Here is a black and white checker board, and what you have to do it fill in one of the squares. You can draw anything you want. Now the next person has to add on to the next square. And so on. Everyone has to use two colors  (black and white). And the background has to match the previous picture. Say if your square is white, and the other one is black. You must change yours  black. You can invert the background colors also. Now, I would start, but I'm not very good at pixeling yet.

I think we're supposed to draw something in those sqaures, if your sqaure is black you can only use white. And I also think he means a platform game as he mentionedsomething about the background having to match the backgrounds next to your sqaure.

I pretty sure he means something like this:

(a quick example only.. please don't be a doche and use this crap)

Basically, it's like any other tile collab except there's only two colours: black and white. Plus, every white or black tile is a negative of each other.
Is this what you meant?

No, fill in one of those squares.

Example I got from another forum.

Each person gets a square. And You can invert the colors if you want.

Looking good lawrence. You and your lighting... :)

It could get confusing later on when it's hard to tell what squares are done yet etc. so i suggest the uncompleted squares are given different colours to black and white. That is if the invert thing isn't happening.

Actually, people will know that a box is empty when it has nothing in it. And lawrence, that looks really nice, but it might be a little advanced for some people. I guess we'll see who modifies it next.

Yeah I was thinking about that. Perhaps there could be a blend; a nice simple style on the left and a more complex style on the right, with the left possibly having a light, daytime background and the right having a dark night time background, in a kind of yin-yang way (which would also relate back to the concept of 1 bit colour).

Also, are we allowed to do multiple squares, or just the one?

Ah i thought it was a woman.

And what about tile edges, Colbert. I'd rather be able to see them clearly than not. But i suppose it isn't incredibly important. I'll think of adding something within the next few days probably. ON THE DARK SIDE. HEHEH.

Well do what I did.
THIS IS JUST AN EXAMPLE THIS IS JUST AN EXAMPLE

Note: Once done drawing, Replace the red with black, and inverse the your picture so it matches the others.

I'm not quite sure I understand. Do the backgrounds alternate from black to white, or do they stay the same?

No do it the way Lawrick did it. And then invert your image so your background is the same as his (black). My example was how to say in your square and not draw out of it.

You can do multiples, no more than two please.

Well really there's no need to invert afterwards, you could just do it with a black BG from the start. And Colbert, i think you meant Lawrence. Heheh...

Lol, I think you're right Larwince.

Btw that's woman. She looks kind of f'd up though. Whoever does the squares beneath her, feel free to... make her gender more... obvious, lol.
