CHALLENGE: Animals_14

We all loved the horror month, but is there something completely different that we also love? Something that could help us move on? What is an oposite of inanimated scary movie posters? Of course it's ANIMATED SPRITES OF CUTE ANIMALS!

To make things more interesting this week's challenge will be a variant of a random palette challenge. The colours are not random per se, but their choice criteria has little to do with actual colours - those are the colours with animals in their names.


The list in alphabethical order:

Animals_14 palette:


Canvas Size: 80x80.
Colours: Max 15 (14 from the palette + transparency)
Transparency: Required.
Animation: Required.
Cuteness: Required. (You can choose a predator but it have to look cute not scary).

Bonus challenge: - draw one of the animals from the colour name list.

CHALLENGE RULES

  • Participants have until this upcoming Sunday at midnight (12AM Pacific) to /pixels/submit_icons.asp - submit their entry (strict). Don't forget to check the 'Submit to weekly challenge' checkbox.
  • Only new pixels allowed.
  • Open to all members.
  • Posting WIPs in this thread or in new threads in the /forum/forum_topics.asp?FID=8 - WIP section is highly encouraged, but ONLY SUBMIT YOUR FINAL ART.

CHALLENGE JUDGING

  • Every Sunday at midnight (12AM Pacific) the previous week's entries are judged.
  • Every week a new voting poll will be posted for previous week's entries.
  • Winner announced the following week.

CHALLENGE PRIZES/GOODIES

  • Top three finishers will receive an award displayed in your PJ gallery profile for all to see and envy.
  • Top finisher gets to suggest a future week's challenge. If you're a winner and you wish to submit your idea, send a message to https://pixeljoint.com/p/27498.htm - Gecimen .
  • 'Participation' ribbons will be given for all who enter.
  • No matter what happens you get challenged :)

i dont understand the transparency: Required. I mean, like no background so the background is indeed transparent?

Also, the text on this post is like darkgreen and cannot be read on the grey background

I don't plan on going in this direction, but for the sake of argument, are we restricted to real animals or are fantasy animals, like pink dragons and stuff, accepted?

I'm pretty we are able to draw any animal and that the listed animals are the source of the color palette: "The colours are not random per se, but their choice criteria has little to do with actual colours - those are the colours with animals in their names.".

Drawing one of the listed animals is a 'bonus challenge', you can pick any animal you like, on the list, off the list, and we'll even be happy to accept fantasy animals :)
