CHALLENGE: Pixel Tarot

This week we will design our pixel tarot cards. First they were used for gaming, and later got esoteric and other aplicatons, but we will be focusing on the art here.

Choose a "Major Arcana" card from the list:

0    The Fool
I    The Magician
II    The High Priestess
III    The Empress
IV     The Emperor
V    The Hierophant
VI    The Lovers
VII    The Chariot
VIII    Justice
IX    The Hermit
X     Wheel of Fortune
XI     Strength
XII    The Hanged Man
XIII    Death
XIV    Temperance
XV    The Devil
XVI    The Tower
XVII    The Star
XVIII    The Moon
XIX    The Sun
XX    Judgement
XXI    The World


Use the provided palette:



And the template with three sections:
 


Add the number in the top section (The Fool usually has this space empty), the artwork in the middle, and the name of the card in the bottom. You are free to design your font and numeration however you like..

Canvas size: Exactly 100x186 (use the template).
Colours: Max 8 (7 from the palette +1 of transparency only on the corners).
Transparency: Required. (There are round corners cutted from the template, which need to stay, but you are not allowed to add transparency on the card surface).
Animation: No.

CHALLENGE RULES

  • Participants have until this upcoming Sunday at midnight (12AM Pacific) to /pixels/submit_icons.asp'>submit their entry (strict). Don't forget to check the 'Submit to weekly challenge' checkbox.
  • Only new pixels allowed.
  • Open to all members.
  • Posting WIPs in this thread or in new threads in the /forum/forum_topics.asp?FID=8'>WIP section is highly encouraged, but ONLY SUBMIT YOUR FINAL ART.

CHALLENGE JUDGING

  • Every Sunday at midnight (12AM Pacific) the previous week's entries are judged.
  • Every week a new voting poll will be posted for previous week's entries.
  • Winner announced the following week.

CHALLENGE PRIZES/GOODIES

  • Top three finishers will receive an award displayed in your PJ gallery profile for all to see and envy.
  • Top finisher gets to suggest a future week's challenge. If you're a winner and you wish to submit your idea, send a message to https://pixeljoint.com/p/27498.htm' target='_blank'>Gecimen.
  • 'Participation' ribbons will be given for all who enter.

How much of the template do we need to keep? Can we recolor the background outside of the template frame or use different colors for the frame? Can top and bottom boxes be styled differently? For example, keeping the placement but adding some decorations to make them prettier?

As far as I'm aware, yes to all of the above as long as the placement is in the spirit of the template
