Canibal's Lonely Feast, i've got to apologize to every dithering pixel misplaced, you were placed in vain

A bit of an unorthodox interpretation of the prompt but what could a God even consider a Feast other than a lesser divinity.

Decided I couldn't leave well enough alone and extended it a bit. I'm not sure if I need to resubmit to the weekly challenge after making a change to my submission though. I know it says to only submit final art.

Multiple times now I have flaked on a weekly challenge.
I am posting here to shame myself into finishing it.

Went for a completely different take here, hopefully it will get accepted, but I'm ok if it isn't. My personal theme for this one is called "A feast for the mind", although I might upload it under a different title to the gallery. Hopefully the description will make sense.

@alampridius Looking forward to seeing what it looks like when it's finished.

@DustfingerPT The prompt was pretty vague. I like how you've just pushed color into everything here though. The pallet is great and this just makes me regret not exploring more of it.

Just wanted to leave a comment on this thread saying how much I enjoyed your submitted piece. Very interesting graphical style, and nice composition! I'm looking forward for more of your stuff in the future.

Esven:
Done!

DustfingerPT:
Thank you! I liked yours a lot as well (the pants in particular).
I had some difficulty with the palette (a palette with black would have been more comfortable for me, for example something like this (quick palette edit):).
So halfway through it I thought I should have made the majority of the image yellow/orange like yours, because most available tones are there. But it worked out in the end, I think.
