Hello!

I am redrawing Doomguy for a platformer now and don't think I have good hand and weapon animation (don't mind the legs on this stage).

Any advice?

Note: weapon is an additional sprite and cannot be rotated.

Little update of the weapon movement. Now I like it more.

There was platformer Blackthorne with a shotgun dude.

Blackthorne is great, but Kyle is never running with a gun.
I hope I will return to this animation soon.

I have a delicate question.

I am respriting Doom 2D (fan-made platformer from 1997, based on Doom graphics) to get rid of copyrighted material.

And my task is pretty delicate - I need to make the new sprites in the style of ID Software, so players won't see a difference at first and the game will still look like Doom.
My sprites are not edits, all drawn from scratch, but I should keep the original silhouette and palette when it is possible. It is important for me that the viewer can compare the pictures side by side.

So, is it okay to post on PJ something with sprites of ID Software on the left and my own work on the right?
