CHALLENGE: Elementaly My Dear Watson

This is a kind of an RPG party challenge.

Create two character sprites - one of Sherlock Holmes and one of Dr. Watson. Chose two elements and use each of them as a theme for each character. Yes, they can be elemental monsters, but they can also have only elemental themed outfits, or be magicians of different element magic. What kind of characters you draw, and how you interprete their elemental nature is entirely open to your interpretation. The only thing not debatable is that both characters have to be indefiable, and the usage of chosen elements recognisable. If you convincingly pass those criteria by drawing a frog and a stone - even better.

Canvas size: Exactly 221x221.

Colours: Max 17 (palette + transparency).

Transparency: Required.

Animation: No.

CHALLENGE RULES

  • Participants have until this upcoming Sunday at midnight (12AM Pacific) to /pixels/submit_icons.asp'>submit their entry (strict). Don't forget to check the 'Submit to weekly challenge' checkbox.
  • Only new pixels allowed.
  • Open to all members.
  • Posting WIPs in this thread or in new threads in the /forum/forum_topics.asp?FID=8'>WIP section is highly encouraged, but ONLY SUBMIT YOUR FINAL ART.

CHALLENGE JUDGING

  • Every Sunday at midnight (12AM Pacific) the previous week's entries are judged.
  • Every week a new voting poll will be posted for previous week's entries.
  • Winner announced the following week.

CHALLENGE PRIZES/GOODIES

  • Top three finishers will receive an award displayed in your PJ gallery profile for all to see and envy.

  • 'Participation' ribbons will be given for all who enter.
  • No matter what happens you get challenged :)

So, umm, I noticed the challenge hasn't been closed, is this because there were only 2 entries?

What happens now?

Should I finish this abandoned doodle of Scallop Holmes and Dr. Rockson, in order to get the count up to 3 and stop the universe from collapsing in on itself? I'd remove the text and make the background transparent, of course, was just messing about since I wasn't going to use this for the challenge.

Yes, when there isn't enough entries in a challenge it runs for one more week, this happens occasionally. Scallop Holmes is looking real good so far!
