Hello, I've never participated in the Pixel Joint challenges before, but I'm giving it a try for the first time and I'm unsure if I'm following the rules correctly. I'm working on the "Polar Hippopotamus" challenge, and the rules state that I need to use the "4pi" palette with a limit of 9 colors (palette + transparency). I interpreted this to mean that I could use 9 colors from the palette, including colors created through transparency blending. However, after looking at recent submissions, I noticed that almost everyone is using the palette without transparency, which made me question whether I misunderstood the rules. Could someone confirm if I'm doing this correctly?

In challenge descriptions, transparency always refers to 100% transparency and usually just tells if you're allowed/required to have a background. So no, no blending in this challenge.

Thank you sooo much!! I'll try to find a way to adapt my image to fit the rules :>, about the background, but then it wouldn't be a problem if I made it with a background, would it?

Yes, for this challenge it's your choice if you want to have a background or not.
