Hey everyone, I'm new to these forums and am fresh into the pixel art scene. I just finished making this banner for a friend of mine who is a rather huge Harry Potter fan. I would enjoy hearing comments, praise or criticism for this picture. What do you like about it, and what can I do better? Thanks!

Interesting composition and the bobbly characters are nifty. The type in the bottom right is hard to decipher. Also, the grass is a little overwhelming... might want to tone down the contrast a bit. |

Thanks for all the suggestions guys! Since I don't have photoshop, changing the grass will be hard...hrmm I don't know quite how to do that. I didn't want to make the signature too conspicuous, so I made it nice and small. I will tone down the contrast. I'll make some vertical lines on the cottage to make it look like stones in stead of a tin can. And I'll make a cool border too! In other words, I'll get right on it! |
