Yea, well heres a Bender from futurama.  Tell me what you think. :)
It's my fourth pixel art I've published so yea I'm a noob. hahaha.

Try working from a reference.  It looks like you just did this from memory.

Pixelling skills aside. Bender has so much personality, yours don't quite have the right look. Indeed more reference material is neded before you get to the coloring.

Bender is not so wide, and he doesn't have broad shoulders he is just straight up and down, i don' t think he has so many rows of square thing's in his mouth either, he only has three rows.

I can spot a lot of mistakes just from memory... you definately need to use a reference image.
And it looks like you've used things like the curve and circle tool on the line art, and it doesn't look too good. Doing them manually might be a better idea.
