Well I've been busy lately working on a game of mine, not to mention life insisting on butting on all the time. The game could be said to be something which often seeks to push my abilities beyond what I normally do. I try hard things, in a sense.

I began what could be considered a somewhat tricky piece today; what it is is a rock thats based around the structure of a twisted square pyramid. So I've started out by building that basic form, and I hope to turn it into a rock from there, here's how its looking:

hmm, I just had a play with it and came up with another version:

My main concern is; does the shading look correct? It's a bit of a weird shape and I'm not 100% sure...

It's funny how a relatively simple object, when pixelized, looks so very cool...

Thanks snader, that's a great edit.

I finally got around to rockifying this thing, it sort of turned into a tapering double helix:

Opinions welcome, as always.

thats actually way cool man. i didnt know what scale you were going for, so i read''pyramid'' and made it really tiny scale =P

i would try to make the top look lesy clumpy, it all blends a bit too much, love the lowest part though
