Hey guys. I'm new to the forum, but I've been doing pixel signatures for a while now.
This is one that I'm working on-
  There are going to be four characters battling the dragon, who will be severely wounded, bloody and beaten. In the background, is going to be some sort of dwarven kingdom. I had the idea of having a big statue with a flame at the base, in a huge wall leading to the city.
What do you guys think so far?

That's a signature...that big... Looks epic. The composition is good. Some dodgy lineart areas still...guess some coloring is needed to better acess this situaton. that big ha...a signature...hmmm ------------- |

Ya, that's how big the guy wanted it :/ it's for a competition.
Anyways, started some coloring on the dragon- only really worked on the mouth and eyes.

Looks cool.
some things:
1. I Edited this spike, looked strange to me.
2. This spike looks a bit akward too.
3. Just an Idea I had
4. The wing looks strange, maybe it should be placed down a bit?
5. Edited a piece of the belly since it was done different above..

heh.
I was wondering- do you think I should make the dragon have more diamond-shaped scales, or more circular/teardrop shaped ones to complement all his spikes? Or don't have scales at all?

| If you do the rounder teardrop shape. Make sure they follow the bodys motions and isnt just straight down. That always looks horrible. |
