maybe try some lighter outlines on the lips so they're not so "out there"... they also look huge in perspective to his face. You don't leave him much of a chin and jawline where some shading could be added to it. His cheekbones look odd somehow too... I dunno. Maybe I'll try it myself and show you what I mean ------------- |

okay here is my rendition of this... of course I do the lighting differently... and a larger version you can see more clearly what I've done: Sooooo... The eyes: I've added dark shade surrounding the eyes to give them that socketed look. The eyebrows I've extended to kind of surround the eyes The lips: Smaller and simpler is better sometimes. took away the dark lines and gave it some softer ones which made space for... The cheeks and jawline: Moved the light up on the cheeks closer to the eyes. Drew in a jawline to give definition to them. Also, some shading from the nose down under the cheeks. The chin: I've extended the goatee so it looks like he had a chin Of course, these are just things I would be doing and I also use a mirror technique which is prominent in pretty much all my pieces... just my style... and it makes lighting and shading a snap. just to let youk know and ive never done a human before so i didnt

with this project :( so i cant take credit for it cuz ppl will think i
