I'm working on a four- frame sprite template for four directions.... I plan to "skin these for character sprites.

Any comments, additions, or suggestions?

2 words. Poor anatomy. I suggest looking up some references for shape of limbs and body. The face is very square too.

2 words. Remove outline. At small sizes like this, the outline uses too much space that could be employed in defining form or details. Thin it to a half-pixel with subpixel techniques or remove it altogether.

Two words: Thank you.

As for the anatomy, any resource suggestions? This is sort of a stylized character sprite, and I guess I'm not sure as to what approach to take with the anatomy of this type and size of sprite.
