Okay its supposed to be kinda like getting darker in gray, but when saved as a gif is comes out like this :(. Any help?

you must be saving this as a .gif in ms paint right?
paint is not very good at saving in .gif format, may i suggest you download www.gimp.org , this is a free program that doesnt loose the colour qualities when saving as a .gif.

I use Animation Shop for all my animations and never seem to have much of a problem. Did a rework of your table for you if you want to see it (?)

Check your options for any dithering settings, and turn them off.
