- Save it as a PNG
- I'm not really sure you should have the canvas that big, considering the characters are so small
- Your palette at the moments seems incredibly dark. I'm not sure how you're going to work with it, but best of luck.

ok, PNG. Also the canvas has to be that big 240x240, or is that just the size you can't go past or limit?

If shading were defined as "making a triangle in the corner of each object darker," I would agree. You need to shade to the volume of the body parts.

may you give me an example? I don't get it when you say volume of the body parts.

Your arm is not a rectangle but a cylinder. You draw things like rectangles, then add darkness in a corner instead of shading them to show their cylindrical nature.

A picture is worth a thousand words, therefore http://www.itchy-animation.co.uk/light.htm - this tutorial is worth a bunch.  Read it. Apply it. Don't do drugs.

Well... given that it's night and the moon is behind the figure... unless you have another light source - my guess is that you won't be seeing much detail.

Except for maybe some light bleeding from around the edges of the silhouette.
