alright, usually i dont post WIPS.  Its against my pixel ethics, but whatever.  I need some help on something.  I made this really cool buff guy (lacking clothing) and I need to add cool clothing to him and give him some character.  the problem i am facing right now is that I spent too much time on the muscels and i'm now afraid to cover them 

Things I am currently working on:
1) the arms (specifically his left - our right)
2) the hands (i haven't even really started that yet)
3) the muscel structure in the legs

basically i just need ideas for what to turn this guy into.  whoever has the best idea - i will do.....im just kinda getting embarrised when people walk by the computer to see me drawing a naked guy that kinda looks like he's in the peeing position.  help me out here.

The hulk? lol I dunno really.. I suppose you could just recolour the muscles to make a tight shirt and tight pants... Maybe just turn him into some kind of creature like the hulk..

its really blurry, you could try to fix that by adding more contrast to the hues or by making the lines etc. of the dark colour, and then slightly aa (instead of making whole medium lightness colour lines next to it)

allso, his lower arm looks really weird. in reality the arm isnt that straight, and the muscles arent divided like that. especialy the top muscle of the underarm, it shouldnt go all the way into the upper arm

and it might be a nice idea to give him -some- nech, becayse right now his chin directly merges with his chest

Oh man, that is such a shame to have to cover up such fine pixelling with clothes.  He should be holding a head by the hair or something like a villanous conquerer.

well, first off, I already stated that The arms are not finished, but thanks for the input.  With that in mind...

well, I'm not sure which muscel group your talking about, but I'm pretty sure I got all of the divisions right.  The deltoid properly seperates the bicept from the tricept and connects down into the extensor carti radialis like its supposed to.  the hand extensors properly divide the extensor carti radialis with the flexor carti radialis....  I dont see too much wrong here.  I guess it just looks weird for you because of 2 reasons: 1) The shapes are a little wrong, but im working on that.  2) we hardly ever see people with that much build in their forearm.  Here is a pic to show the muscel groups i'm talking about.  wipped it up pretty fast (forgive the crudeness)

Yes it should.  there is a muscel inbetween the bicept and tricept that acts like a bridge between the deltoid and the extensor carpi radialis.  It is a seperate muscel, but it seems to connect them together.  ...its actually more like a tendon.  I can't seem to remember the name of that one, so i'll have to get back to you on that.  just take a look at some body buider pics.

Other than that - you are probably right about the neck and the contrast issue in the upper body.  I'm not sure if i want to sharpen the upper body or add more shades to the lower to match.  oh well, i'll think of something. and thanks for the great input.

Yeah, I only have that ethic because if you post a wip and never finish it for some reason - it builds a bad reputation.

You are definately right, my friend.  That seems to be the only answer.  Maybe thats why superheroes always wear spandex - the artists didn't want to cover up their hard work.  :P

green= there is barely muscle here, go feel on the top side of your wist, you  (allmost) immediately touch the bonesies, and between them are just a couple of tendons

the red area has different overlapping then the way you drew em. check the link for exactly how they move over oneanother

the pink areas i just felt like editing =)

thanks for the edit.  I will shape the arm better. Just as a minor note; the arm was never finished to begin with.  I really need C+C on the parts that i didn't mention in my first post ...
