Crits appreciated. Haven't pixelled in a while; forgot how fun it is. :)

FYI, this is the main character of "Armand and the Foppish Hat," a freeware RPG I'm helping out on. If anyone feels inspired to do some tiles or monsters, and doesn't have a game of their own to put them in, check out the help wanted post http://www.pixeljoint.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=4992 - here.

Hi Morgan,

Nice atmosphere you have put in this sprite!
If you can alter it I would suggest a different
color for the cape than for the rest of the clothes.

Not sure if the sprite would still be visible on different
backgrounds. Seems that a sandy background will
blend in too much.

As for the sprites, the first thing that I noticed was
that the frontlook has a diagonal stance 3/4 view.
The others haven't this style. It comes close
but it doesn't really match it.
Also some body parts change in proportion while
the head remains almost perfect.
I have a feeling that the side views of the head
are a pixel larger than the frontal view. Not sure.

But all in all I say a very well job regarding the
small sized sprite. Keep up the good work!

Best regards from

M.E.
