This is not a job offer, just a project suggestions where we help each other and advertise this forum at the same time! I have an interesting idea, but before I tell you about it I have to say something about myself, because it might be relevant for you to know. So, my name is Lysekoid (Michal Lysek) and some of you might have run across me and my team behind MegaMan New Horizon ( http://www.mmnh.com/ - www.mmnh.com ) (Programmed in C/C++ for Gameboy Advance and Nintendo DS). I have a BSc and MSc in Computer Engineering and a BSc in Electronics Engineering, and a lot more that this will suffice. What I’m trying to say is that I am a decent programmer and I would like to develop a game with you amazing artists from this forum. You can count on me to do my part… I am setting up a site with my team about mobile/cellular games and I’ve already developed several games, http://www.audmobile.com - www.audmobile.com . But I need more games for the site… So I thought about… what if we would do a together. A game WITH cooperation with the people from PIXEL JOINT. A game that will be FREE and connected with PIXEL JOINT. This way I would be happy because I would get another game for my site and the people who visit my site, and PIXEL JOINT would be happy because the game would give PIXEL JOINT credit and bring more people to your forum!!! We could call the game “PIXEL JOINT something…” and after seeing how talented some of you guys are we could easy makethe best looking game ever! To show you that I’ve been working on Mobile Games before, this is our first game called SpaceBat, a Space Invaders clone developed by me (Lysekoid), Tobias (another programmer), TheColdMage (pixel art, Staltz (music):
So please tell me if you think this would be a good idea and if you’d like to join in and make a wonderful mobile phone game together. I only ask in return that I will have permission to distribute this game from my webpage for FREE of course. your right metaru but seeing as he is not choosing one or 2 artists to help him but allowing everyone at pj to contribute i would pretty much think that it could also be a collab. (just a point of view)

you'll never get enought of them :\ But it doesn't seen to be exactly a space invaders game. We could do any type of shoot-em-up game... or something else. We are all very busy pixellers, but i think everyone that has a bit of interest in going into the freelance buisness would be a moron to reject a offer like this. I for my part would love to join, but not as the lead graphic developper, I don't have time due to school and RL job. But I will of course throw in some nice graphics. I think it would be a nice opportunity to throw back in those PJ platformer gfx we had, and maybe kick ourselves in the ass, and release that game for mobile phone. I would love to play PJ platformer onto my cellphone honestly :D best of luck to you lysekoid, and don't mind the trolls in here, we are know to be evil to newcomers, especially those that offer jobs :D ------------- c==3 |

We'll I think we could do something good. I can sprite myself and I often lead projects like this, but I don't want to do something that I plan out myself because I can do that myself. I'd like to do something you guys here would like to be involved with, so if you are interested then please tell me what you'd like to do...
I can pull it off, no worries about that though... so it all depends on you!

The SpaceBat contest has now ended and the winner is “ohko” from the Pixelation forum. Ohko will receive 100 US dollars for achieving 1180 points and reaching the Squid boss at stage 9.
Ohko: Congratulation! We are also upgrading SpaceBat right now.
