Yoda:

I've tryed to submit it to the gallery but it seems that i didnt had enough score.
So i'm open to critics and help, showing me how to improve. I hope you can help me get my pixel art better. Take care.

Hi WildMiguel,
Looking awesome, especially when you started pixelling two weeks ago!
Did you use any reference material to make this?
As for Yoda: Hands look a bit weird. The one holding the stick has too little hand and the other one seems to wide apart. (not really sure since I never met him personally :) )
Mushu: Some readability issues with his left arm. Although you have used some AA the lines are still jaggy.
Vegeta: Nice, interesting view point. The perspective on this one makes it difficult for me to comment anything since it is not a usual view point that I'm acustomed to. My gutt feeling tells me that his left foot should be facing us more. (his left = our right) Also the viewpoint would make everything to the ground smaller. Maybe tweaking some pixels at his legs and feet would do the trick. Try enlarging the arms a bit since I have a feeling that his upper arm is a bit too weak.
Looking forward to the changes!
Best regards from
M.E.

Wildmiguel, like I told you on DA chat earlyer, clean up the lines, and remove the highlight on mushu's chest, clean up vegeta and give links to your references, and make those signatures handmade, like on mushu greets, Lollige

i've never edited anything here before but you have potential.
you seem to have a sense of AA, although it's not used as efficiently as it could.
http://www.derekyu.com/extras/pixel10.html - here's a good tutorial site you should check out.
here's my 5min crappy edit (only the leg, lol)
i removed the jaggy outlines and added basic AA, you also dont have to use black to point out the shades shape.
ps. colorcount there is 20 when it could be done with less than 10.
i hope this was helpful.
edit: i love pixeledits, no matter who made them :P

Hi, thank you all for the comments. I've put some more muscles and edited his left foot, as you said M.E. (Now it looks like Brolly. =P)
I've cleared the lines as you said lollige. (I think it looks better now...) =P
I've also anti-aliased the picture better as you said Leroy. (Maybe i did it too much =S)
Here's the edited version:
And here's a gif of the general process of making the sprite:

Thank you all for the help, more critics and comments are appreciated of course. =)
P.S: I've put the reference pictures in the original post, i didnt remember to do it early, sorry. =S

you haven't fixed yet the lines miguel, you just've just recolor them. also, notice how vegeta has only one leg with two knees.
and please, use the "direct link" on imageshack instead of the "thumbnail for forums" for the references.

I haven't just recolored them, I've cleaned most of the lines that had
2 pixel width to 1 pixel width, how lollige said to me in the chat,
i've also tryed to anti-alias it but it still looks... "crispy"... The two knees.. i followed them from the reference.
About the direct link, i didnt put it before because the images were too big, or did you mean put the links to click?
(I've tryed to put [url=link]blabla[/url and then close it, but it didnt worked =S)
Any tips on how to make me improve? Thanks.

We frown upon tracing other peoples artwork here. I suggest you forget about these pieces and start something new, original and by yourself. Good luck.
