Hello PJ-ers!
I'm a great fan of pixel art, been trying to dabble with it for ages but to no avail. The only thing I used to make was isometric buildings ('cause they were easy to make :P), and I only produced horrible results. I kept trying to learn pixel art, looked over the list of tutorials posted in a thread 'round here. I did learn something from them, but there were parts that they just rushed into it alittle too fast, or didn't mention the details on how to do a particular thing. Lost, without guidance, I gave up on pixel art to pursue other interests, but time has brought me back here, and I want to give this a better shot than last time;
If someone is interested in helping me, be it a link to a tutorial, I'd be glad.
Oh yeah, I found this on my computer last night. I remember I was so proud when I was done with this ages ago, even though it lacked details, highlights, correct shading, and utterly horrid, and compl-...you get the picture. ;)
So...Hi Pixel Joint! *waves*
EDIT: *smacks head* I should've posted this in Meet and Greet ¬¬

OK, your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to make your building... at night! (or not, I won't be disappointed Just keep pixeling!) Your building reminds me of an office building I see at night when going home from work, and I thought it would look cool with the windows all lit up like the one I see. Here's an example I found on Google:

Just Google "night building" for more references. Yeah, just when you thought you'd escaped homework or work on the weekend, some guy comes along and gives you an assignment... LOL!

What you have here is a 'skin' over a box. You should carve it in and out as needed.
The best tutorail is to see other isometric pixelart and see how different people solve design problems. Lame, but it really works.
I'd invite you to check my gallery but its all crap
