Here I am again. Well I haven't pixeled lately but I've decided to start a new one to finish for a site competition. It's going to be a guy sort of sitting/leaning on the edge of the cliff looking onto the sunset behind the mountains.
Current.

Please help me out with suggestions and critique.

could do with some more contrast and try some hue shifting instead of that straight ramp you've got going on.

hmmm, I dunno if the scene is set at dusk or at sunset the lack of contrast could work. Lovely pixelling you've got going on there. I don't recall this from you, kutgw.

Just thought i'd mention before i went to bed, the mountains shading is slightly on the pillowed side atm. Not much but enough for me to notice, unless i'm going crazy. The mountain peaks are insanely pointy. Uuh thats it from me atm.

Thanks for the critique. I'll try and dull the mountains a bit for you Larwick. I was slightly inspired by Fool's secret Santa for this.
I'll try a bit of hue shifting Feron. I'll mess with the palette and add some contrast between the colors.
Well it's going to be sunset. I still have to define some of the mountains on the left where the sun will be.
Edit: I did actually try a little bit of shifting in the palete because it goes back and forth occasionally between un-saturated to some more rich tones. But I'm going to change colors.
And Jalonso, I think I've improved vastly even though I'm not pixeling as much. I like to take note of some techniques that people use.

A sunset will give everything a very special color (it's what makes great a sunset xD) i think you should look some pictures of sunsets.
Also you should look some landscapes, maybe be from Da Vinci, that made some incredible mountains, and yo can learn from it.
But i really really recommend you to make a little research of landscapes, mountains and sunsets, otherwise your sprite will look artificial.
Good Luck!
