I would nuke the camo pattern you've got and just shade. Worry about details and texture later.

Thanks. THats not a bad idea. ill post an update when im done.

EDIT-URGHHH 3 color shading is hard. One on the outline and two on the shading makes it look bad urghh.

I should also point out that you have a number of serious anatomy problems. It's commendable that you're not tracing your ref, but you really need to follow it more closely.

Thanks a bunch hatch. This is my first person of pixel art. So i will work on it though. Im not doing this as much as for the challenge anymore as i think of it as good practice.

If you're only using three colors for shading, I'd suggest not having a set outline.
*Can't quite explain* Instead of just using that outline color for an outline, use it for shading as well.

Humans are hard. I know this much too well. Remember, people aren't just straight lines. Look at the muscles on your legs, and the picture for examples.
Never forget folds (go off your reference image A LOT for folds. I hate folds with a passion). And, like Hatch said, don't worry about the texture/pattern until later. :)

Good luck! It's frustrating as everything when you can't get it right, I know!

(Aaaand, sorry if this post sounds mean. *Pokes self lightly* I'm not trying to sound mean. :/)

Edit: And don't be afraid to just sketch it out! That is to say, take a light grey or something and just kind of make a bunch of lines and then fix it up. It doesn't have to be perfect the first time around. (I realized that, and it really has helped me a lot with pixelling...humans, especially.)

@bluwriter- Welcome to PJ!That wasn't mean one bit. And if i ask for C+C i expect to get critizied[or how ever you spell it], but dont be too harsh lol. But all you gave me was great information. I will try to sketch out the body, as i think the head is fine, but the body+legs need a lot of work. I will get on it and sadly i don't think i will make the deadline for the challenge. But as i said i dont really care about the challenge at all anymore. I think it is good practice tho.

And i am watching the movie tonight :] so i will study the anatomy.

Thx to all
