probably because it's a box. An isometric box. Big whoop. You've been on this site for almost 3 years now, surely you can make something more interesting. This is just blah, I doubt any amount of in depth critique would make this box not 'blah' ------------- |

In the 3 years thats I've been on this site I've had fun and it's been away of escape..

I completely understand your condition, Fugitive, but you've got to also learn to step out of your box (haha... small pun there) just a tiny bit. Nobody's slamming you for anything of a personal nature. They (and myself) just want to see you try something a bit more visually appealing than a typical box shape. We all love you and you've been a fun part of this site for quite some time now. Just give it that extra oomph and see what comes out. Nobody's asking you to leave your house, just maybe draw something non-house shaped. Give it a go and see what happens. Best case scenario: improving your art and becoming a better person just for trying something different Worst case scenario: none that I can see See? It's a win/win situation!  If you still aren't comfortable with showing something different to the public, I am more than open to help you in private messages with your art. I'm there for you.------------- |

leel, yes it's a box, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Fugitive, we can help you spruce up that box if you want. See it's called a "Blue Box Thing", so let's turn that 'thing' into 'something'. "Blue Box Organ Transplant Container" or "Blue Box Pocket Wormhole". :O GENDER BIAS CONTROVERSY! /jk I do agree with both sides. The box is simple but artists like http://zoggles.co.uk - Zoggles have made really simple iso pieces but used animation to give them a little more zazz. Why don't you try it with this box? |

For the record: nothing posted in this thread so far has been critique on his actual pixel. Nearly every post, besides the ones implying I am the devil, includes suggestions to basically make this box into something else. That was exactly my point in my original post. Everyone is just repeating the same thing over and over again. Of course no one's critiqued the box, it's a splendid box that it is, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". (Other than that one pixel on the left side that isn't there on the right.
