Metal Gear Solid's Gray Fox. I tried to stay away from the sue hifting (even though a lot of you like that), and more on dithering.

c+c like always.

*Hue Shifting

people tend to like this resource because it makes your colors less flat/boring and more dinamic. you know, we are made of combination of multiple colors instead of simple gradients.

Since when are dithering and hue shifting exclusive of each other? And it's not that "a lot of [us] like" hue shifting, it's that it's a superior way of coloring recognized by artists all over the world.

That is not always correct. The hue shifts in midtones result from the material's surface properties and material properties as well as the color of the initial light.

I personally like the colors presented here. Gives it a 90's sprite art look.

The only possible way that i could imagine that we are not made of multiple combinations of colors is in a gray/monochrome point of view.
