Hey all.

I stumbled upon this forum on my quest to design my tattoo, and I really think you guys could help.

I'm looking to do a half sleeve on my upper arm of old school video game characters (Mario, Link, Pac-man, etc.) in the original pixels. My only problem is fitting them all together in a way that will look good. I want to incorporate as many things as I can without ruining it and I figured with your expertise in this area, you might have some ideas.

So if its possible, send me some ideas on what to do!! I would also be willing to pay if someone comes up with something I end up using since I know that it will be alot of work!

In my own, personal opinion and experience(and after an hilarous thread on 4chan's /v/), i can guarantee you that a pixel tatoo of an old video game character's sprite could be anything except cool.

but in the end, its your skin, your decision. all i could reccomend is to avoid a tattoo of their original sprites, and aim for a more elaborated desing.

I think it can be cool, but I do think that it shouldn't ALL be pixels. You should mix it up. Also, what's fit for pixels may not be fit for skin. That's a different canvas. I think you need to find a tattooist to design a tattoo for you, not a pixel artist.

i think thats a great idea....try to find a tatoo artist to know whats the best tatoo for you.....
