I did this pixelart self-portrait for pixelation back in the days.
Now I decided to remake it - it's a shame for one's self portrait to suck
I was looking at a lot of dithered works lately, so I decided to give it a try even though I suck at it, generally.

I wanna avoid adding in more colors but I think I will have to...
What do you think?

The character design and lineart are really great man.  I have to admit I'm a bit shocked because you haven't posted anything in this style so far (I don't think). Personally, I don't mind shading of this type, but if you want to step up the dithering I'm sure it will look great.

One thing that does look a bit off is the top of your right ear (our left) sticks out a bit weird.

Nope, I haven't posted anything in this style :) a) I am lazy; b) I don't want to spend much time on pixelart at work (although I did)
I am going to fix this, and probably add one more step in the shading.
Hactually, the right ear is closer to reality than the left one

I agree with sedge, awesome lineart.

I think though that the bottoms of the pants look.. strange. And the lines of the shirt are a little jagged. The face could use some highlights, methinks. But the hands are really fantastic. :)

Post updates!!
