Inspired by Indigo's "Spectra Bird" I decided to pixel a bird of my very own. :O but after looking to LandShark's "turtle dove" for inspiration, i find myself still completely stumped on how to go about giving the feathers a feather-like texture.  ------------- "Hate is my enemy, Life is short and Life is plenty, keep my eyes on my path cuz i know who sent me" |

Hi L3m0n, When you are referring to http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51REV4ASWEL.jpg - this I would suggest to use a real photograph as a reference. nice one. I think in you actual piece the beak is actually too much disconnected by the rest of the face. I'd add more dark feathers in the backpart. got it? |

I'm sort of hoping for something -semi realistic/semi cartoonish. That may sound impossible but Hey, thats birds for ya.

Hi L3m0n5, The beak goes further in his head. His head should be half the size wider. The image before the noodles had a nice feather structure. But I would avoid the heave highlight on the front since that looks more shiny instead of featherly. At least you are daring to try different things which is really awesome! Keep up the good work!
