Hello all, I thought it'd be good to get some critique on a tileset I've been working on. -Tileset  The tree is giving me a lot of trouble.. I don't know how I should finish it. It seems like it's missing something. And I'd also like some help or some ideas at least on what to add to it. (It's supposed to be a forest tileset) By the way, it's being used in a solo project I'm working on. | Maybe you could add a little more shape to the tree. It doesn't have to be a straight tree trunk. Make it look more realistic, perhaps? |

| that's the thing, I don't know how to make a texture of a realistic tree. I've tried searching for example trees, but none of them really go with the game's style. |

Not the texture, the shape. Start doing a believable shape an then think about shading  ------------- You'll hear your steps making no noise |

Opacus drew a tree a while ago. you can still find its WIP thread around. by the way, aren't those the same terrain colors used by Indigo in his banner? ------------- I ate leel's babies |

Alright thanks, I'll start on that.
As for the colors.. I chose them myself. If anything they should only look similar to the colors in Indigo's banner, but not the same. |

not that such thing could be aproblem, since nobody can (c) colors palettes :P by the way, what your trunk needs is a more organical look. trunks are spirals of nonpattern-esque nature. while it is still a colum, it doensn't need to be made of a cilinder. ------------- I ate leel's babies |
