its interesting...........its pretty basic still so its kind of hard to crit it further.......the square/no neck thing is a cool style

Too little shading, he looks very flat. And you haven't shaded the brown parts at all.

That shading is getting better, glitchey, but you could improve it more by carefully considering the form of the character when you shade. You've got your lightsource worked out, it seems, so just think about how the light would hit the body, where highlights would be and where shadow would be.
For instance on the forward facing one theres highlight on the arm, but none on the body, making him seem quite flat still, then on the sideways facing one theres highlight on the back and none on the arm, see? Keep it going

Yeah, the shading makes him seem quite blocky. Don't be afraid to use dithering to get the texture/shape you want. For example, on the last one, the creature's tail looks glossy and very angular. Try blending that highlight with the darker tone and just experiment around as much as you can.
