Everyone as a kid everyone loved the box more than toy that came in it, so the kid in me thought up this collab, and the rules are simple:

(sorry for terrible box pic, had 5 secs spare)

  1. Turn the box into what ever you want, spaceship, car, house, but you have to keep the general box shape.
  2. You can cut bits out stick bits on.
  3. Remember what it was to be a kid with a box, go mental.

This is great idea and I think it's true for all people that were able to afford a box back in the kiddy days. I'm going to start thinking of what to make, I've had so many boxes

A comic about a little boy and his toy-tiger. Just google it and you'll find lot of strips in the image search...

Not to be a negative nelly (which aparently, that image is burned onto my rep)

BUT doesn't this project seem a little.. hmm.. well okay let's look at the subject matter: a BOX. A CARDBOARD BOX. Possibly the most exciting object to center a project around, I know.

But it looks to me like this project could wear really thin, really fast. Good collabs dont limit you to a brown box. The reason "hatch-a-thon" was such a success was because we got the freedom to make anything, any size, any colors, any style we wanted. A collab with Boxes and barely any rules is very likely to be a flop.

Just sayin'

well no meant to be as big as hatch-a-thon, just a bit of harmless childish fun, afterall as an adult i get funny looks if i climb in a box now, so this is only way i can get away with playing with a box in public, plus who's to say your box has to be box coloured or even totally boxed shaped, as long as we can see your creation has at some point sprung up from a humble box, then all is good.......

c'mon use your imagination, surely as a kid you always wanted a toy fort, race car, space ship, tank, well now u can make one....outta the box

well ryan-gfx, I think of this as a sort of a challenge collab. I mean, now I don't know what my box should be  So it's a bit challenging :P

Hahaha, oops.

Mmm, love the smell of pyro in the morning.

Yeah, I did the box-over-the-head thing, but minus the eyeholes. That made it less my fault when I ran into things.

Ha ha Saboteur. That's really smart, but I hated running into things - that's why I would put draw little faces on there and do the eye holes.

Great piece by the way.
