CHALLENGE: Face Your Fears

It haunts all of us day and night. Happy or sad, it is always resting on your subconscious mind. That one thing that given the slightest thought will cripple you completely. Your biggest fear. For some it is the dark, some death. What ever your trepidation may be, it is time to take a step forward and face your phobia (or at least try to) by pixeling it to the best of your abilities. Attempt to let your canvas show the viewer why you are truly mortified by this evil we call "Fear". --- Since this is YOUR greatest cowardice, there are no restrictions, because fear has none.

Restrictions - None

CHALLENGE RULES

  • Participants have until this upcoming Sunday at midnight (12AM Pacific) to /pixels/submit_icons.asp'>submit their entry (strict). Don't forget to check the 'Submit to weekly challenge' checkbox.
  • Only new pixels allowed.
  • Open to all members.
  • Posting WIPs in this thread or in new threads in the /forum/forum_topics.asp?FID=8'>WIP section is highly encouraged, but ONLY SUBMIT YOUR FINAL ART.

CHALLENGE JUDGING

  • Every Sunday at midnight (12AM Pacific) the previous week's entries are judged.
  • Every week a new voting poll will be posted for previous week's entries.
  • Winner announced the following week.

CHALLENGE PRIZES/GOODIES

  • Top three finishers will receive an award displayed in your PJ gallery profile for all to see and envy.
  • Top finisher gets to call the following week's challenge...sweet.
  • 'Participation' ribbons will be given for all who enter.
  • No matter what happens you get challenged :)

First thing that comes to my head is having an overhead view of a guy looking down into a canyon, and some sort of dark monster with red eyes in the canyon.
That's just my idea though.

@Raven Studios, I'm afraid that is not gallery ready.
It is VERY scary but not in a good 'pixelly' way.
You have till Sunday night. Explore the story further and define with purpose. Place your pixels with care and think layout, design and color choices too.

Practice makes perfect.

Its not quiet finished .. need to add BG and change soe stuff but its fair at the momment :)

f what is "f" - false ? This is nice idea for fears of the pupils :) ... just work a bit more and think to add something more. True False with some smiles or I don't know many ideas you can invent ...

No, it doesn't mean all wrong, it means fail. A fail is generally under either 60 or 50 percent.


Anyway, i can't make mine scary :(

Look guys, you are misenterpreting what I am saying about fears. It can be ANYTHING! The fear of losing a loved one, the fear of talking to a person who is the opposite sex. It doesn't have to be all about death, but if you wish...then so be it. Also I don't think anyone cares if you are afraid of something. This is the interenet, NO ONE will ever meet you in person. So there is no need to have a big ego. Don't try to say you have no fears, because everyone has a fear of something. Even nihilists.

There are no restrictions. It doesn't matter how big you make it, how many colors you use, if you use animation or not..It is your fear, if you fear something with more colors...then thats what you need to pixel.
